be in need of repair or restoration. When this time comes, it is time to
call John Cunius Restorations. Our expert restoration staff has over 20
years of experience in restoring a variety of church furniture and returning
them to their original beauty. The restoration process includes stripping the current finish off of your pews, repairing any imperfections that may have surfaced over time, applying new finish to your pews, and also reupholstering kneelers and/or pew cushions. If your current pews are assembled with nails, in most cases, these will be replaced with screws to provide a greater structural integrity so you have the opportunity to enjoy your pews for many years to come. Your pews will be carefully disassembled and labeled before transportation. This assures that the pews will be reinstalled in the exact layout they resided in. After arrival, your pews will be stripped, repaired and sanded to return the wood to its original beauty. They will then return to your church to be reassembled and returned to their original place. Quality controls and inspections are preformed throughout the entire process to ensure the highest quality outcome possible.
